The 10 SFF NVMe chassis backplane and 8+2 SFF and 4 LFF chassis provide the ability to mix and match SAS/SATA and NVMe, supporting new uFF and M.2 storage options.

Safety Innovation
Only HPE offers industry-standard servers with the main firmware pinned directly to the silicon. With Silicon Root of Trust, security is built-in throughout the server lifecycle.
Under the real-time firmware validity verification mechanism, millions of lines of firmware code run before the server operating system starts. HPE iLO Advanced Security Edition provides the core system firmware every 24 hours to verify the validity and reliability of the server firmware.
Safe Recovery allows server firmware to fall back to last good state or factory settings when bad code is detected.
Enhanced security features include Server Configuration Lock, iLO Security Dashboard, and Workload Performance Advisor, which provides real-time tuning recommendations to improve performance.
The TPM provides additional security options to prevent unauthorized server access, while the intrusion detection suite leaves a log and alerts when the server cover is removed, authorized by the secure storage unit.
